My 2nd parade!

Last weekend was also Solon Home Days which is a weekend long carnival and a parade on Sunday! Since I loved my first parade 4th of July weekend so much, mommy and daddy decided to take me to see this parade too! We had a great time!

We saw an old-fashion fire truck!

Which deserved a few applause's!

Guess what else we saw!

A few old-fashion cars,

Slider, the Indians Mascot,

A clown on stilts,

A puppy with a "lamp shade" around his face,

Lolly the Trolley,

And a bulldozer!

I also had my first Popsicle,
And caught a ball!

Before the parade ended, I also got to see two very exciting people:
Snoopy!

And Ronald McDonald!

I waved to Ronald.....

And kept waving to him.....until he went out of sight!

Taylor's 3rd Birthday Party!

My cousin turned the BIG 3 last weekend and had a big birthday bash! I had a great time at the party! I had pizza for the first time, cake for the second time, and took my first ride in a pink Mustang!

YUMMY, this cake is delicious!

I also played with a slinky for the first time too!

Nana tickled me!!!

I started to get sleepy when Taylor was opening her presents.

Taylor showed me how she could ride her new tricycle!
And then took me for a ride in her new pink Mustang!

And then she let me get behind the wheel! Vroom! Vroom!

Washing mommy's car!

Don't ask when the last time mommy's car got washed........but she finally thought it was about time when she had to wash my black hands for the 100th time after I touched her car! Of course, she signed me up to help!!!

First, I was in charge of the hose to fill up the bucket and wet the car.

Then I was in charge of the sponge to wash the car.

And lastly, I was in charge of the hose (once again) to rinse the car.

So what did mommy do, you ask? Supervised, she said! :)
After, I was done washing mommy's car, I decided to wash my car!!!

Hanging out with Bailey in his cage/bedroom!

I can entertain myself for quite a while playing in Bailey's cage. I often bring my cars, trucks, and other toys and put them in Bailey's cage and then close the door on them and walk away giggling! Other times, I crawl in the cage (with or without Bailey) and close the door on myself and then entertain myself be splashing in Bailey's water bowl. This time I crawled in with Bailey, while he was eating, to keep him company. Bailey gets a little nervous when I close the door! :)

Slam-Dunk!

Daddy (and mommy, a little) helped our neighbor, Doug, put up a basketball hoop last weekend. Once it was up, I was very eager to help break it in! I made a few slam-dunks, had a little hang time, and showed everyone what I could do!

Watch out Lebron!!!

2 POINTS!

Here come 2 more!

Who's brave enough to take me on?!?!

15 Month Pediatrician Appointment

We went to go visit Dr. Sangree last Tuesday. It had been 3 months and Dr. Sangree was SO HAPPY to see me! I was a giggling machine and Dr. Sangree asked mommy and daddy if I was always this happy!!!! Yes, when I am well rested, they replied. :) Dr. Sangree and I played with the fire trucks that were in our Dr. office room. Dr. Sangree was quite impressed with me! I checked out great, got a weight update, height update....and yes, a few of those dreadful shots. I weighed 23 1/2 lbs and got to get weighed like a big boy on the big boy scale. I stood very still and patiently! It was nice to not have to get stripped down and lay on that cold, little baby scale. I was 32.25 inches tall! This puts me in the 75th percentile for height and 50th percentile for weight!!!

We said our good-byes to Dr. Sangree until next time...which actually won't be until I'm 2! Dr. Sangree is going to have her 2nd baby girl in October so I will see one of Dr. Sangree's friends (another doctor in the practice) at my 18 month appointment.

Using a Fork!

I am actually quite good with my fork! I really enjoy using it too and will pretty much eat anything that I have on my tray if I can use my fork! Mommy gives me green beans without a fork and they usually go flying off my tray. Mommy gives me green beans with a fork and in my mouth they go!!! Now when mommy gets brave enough to give me a spoon...that may be a whole other story! Maybe we'll start with the spoon eating out on the deck and then we can just hose everything down (me, my highchair, and the deck)!
