Mommy's Belly at 30 weeks!

30 weeks!!!!!! Where has the time gone?!?! We all can't believe mommy is already this far along and we will be meeting OUR precious baby girl in 10 weeks (give or take a little). Mommy is still feeling great (though there are a couple of uncomfortable side effects of being pregnant that she is feeling....she will never really complain about them because she absolutely loves being pregnant and even more so the end result of a healthy pregnancy). The DAILY heartburn has set in now, our baby girl is finding mommy's ribs a little more often, she's putting even more pressure on mommy's bladder (especially at night when mommy is trying to sleep in more than 1 hours increments), and mommy's hips are starting to ache a little (again, particularly at night when mommy is trying to get comfortable and you know, SLEEP).

With how quickly this pregnancy has flown by, mommy hasn't had time to mentally prepare herself for the fact that this may be the last time she has a precious little baby developing and growing inside her belly. Mommy's goal (which she thought of at the beginning of the pregnancy) was to have the decision made whether mommy and daddy were going to be happy with 2 children or whether they would want more so if this was the last one, she could enjoy her belly one last time and fully accept the fact that she will never, ever have this experience again. Mommy's a strong believer in the power of the mind! Mommy and daddy haven't 100% decided and probably won't in the next 2 months so I'm thinking I should give mommy the advice to mentally prepare herself that we will be a family of 4 (+1 great dog who we could never leave out) and if she gets pregnant again, one day, she can have this wonderful experience once again!

My First Baseball Game - The Dayton Dragons!

On Sunday we had big plans to take me to my very first baseball game!!! We were going to the Dayton Dragons and the game was at 4:00. This allowed time to stop for a quick ice cream cone. Poppy has been promising me he would take me for an ice cream cone since I have been doing so well with going poopy on the potty! We stopped at UDF (Gammy's silly choice) and I got a huge scoop of rainbow sherbet in a cake cone. As soon as the ice cream cone hit my tiny hands, I dug right in! There's no licking here, I just take bites!!! :) I enjoyed my ice cream cone very much and it was the perfect treat and reward on such a hot day! Thanks Gammy and Poppy!

Then we arrived at the ballpark!!! To our surprise, the big ladder fire truck was there for the game too! We stopped for a few photos on the big baseball, visited the big fire truck where I received my own fireman's hat and then headed in for the game!

Once inside the ballpark, you could just feel the excitement in the air! We found our seats and enjoyed a little of the game before we got up to walk around. I cheered on the ball players, watched all of the other fun activities going on down on the field (which included contests with kids, dogs catching Frisbees, and the Dragon's mascots, Heater and Gem, dancing), and did a little "chair dancing" to the music! We walked around the stadium, got a few pictures with Heater and Gem, took a few more family photos, and went in the gift shop where I picked out a Dragon's ball cap! Then we headed back to our seats to watch some more of the game! Thanks Gammy and Poppy for taking me to the game and everything else!!!!!!! I had such a great time visiting! I miss you terribly and love you sooooooo much!

There's Gem and Heater! I wanted to go meet them so bad but you will see how I reacted when I finally got to meet them!

Doing a little bit of "chair dancing" as Gammy and Poppy call it!
More chair dancing.
And more! (I am so funny how I move my hands when I dance)!
Watching the game with mommy and daddy and sporting my new hat (I like to wear it just like daddy)!

Hi Heater. Bye Heater. Daddy you keep me way over here okay? I don't want to get too close.
Ummmm, Gammy..you are holding me on the wrong side! I am waaayyy too close!
Yay, Dragon's!
My Gammy and Poppy!
And my mommy and daddy! Thanks Gammy and Poppy for taking me to the game and everything else!!!!!!! I had such a great time visiting! I miss you terribly and love you sooooooo much!

A Fun Summer Weekend in Dayton!

It seems to be a common theme.....every time we go to Dayton to visit Gammy and Poppy we always say we had the best weekend or extended weekend or week! Well, once again, we had the best extended weekend visit!!!! Mommy, Bailey and I arrived Friday late afternoon (daddy arrived later so he didn't have to take time off work). I was soooo excited to see Gammy and Poppy, I could hardly control myself. We had a nice time visiting Friday evening and I woke to a busy, fun-filled day planned for me on Saturday. Saturday we went to the splash pad park (that's not it's official name by any means). But that's what it is; a splash pad with a park 15 feet away. I had a great time playing in the water and even got accidentally dumped on by a huge bucket way overhead that I must not have realized I was standing directly under....whoops! I switched between the splash pad and playing at the park where I went down the rolly slide, swung on the swings, bounced on the bridge, went through the tunnel, and drove the steering wheels (or drivers, as I call them). Mommy loves, loves, loves this park almost as much as Preston's Hope but not quite for the main reason that there is a variety to do with having the park and splash pad all at the same place.

Do I dare run through the water!?!
Maybe I'm better off just staying on the outskirts filling up my watering can.
So where's the button that makes the water come out?!?!?
Hanging out at the park with MY GAMMY!
Wheeee!!!
Swinging with dada!
Saturday afternoon, after nap, we went to Gammy and Poppy's pool (aka the Kettering Rec Center pool). This pool is very fun but very, very crowded. It's like a zoo every time we go but instead of a ton of animals there are a ton of people. The pool has a huge sand area, a playground, multiple pools (I think 4 or so) and a few water slides.
Playing in the sand while it's rest break.

Riding the seal and so excited about it's fountain!
Curious as to what happens if I put my hands over the fountain.
And there's the water again!
Going down the water slide ALL BY MYSELF!
WHOOPS, I went under!!!!!!!!
After mommy pulled me up from under the water and I gave her the look like "whoa, that wasn't suppose to happen, right?!?" I quickly recovered and was ready to go down again, with Gammy this time!
Here we go!
This is more like it!
And preparing for the big splash!!!
Between all of the fun, I managed to find time to help Poppy do a little bit of yard work too! Poppy says I'm his big helper!

Driving - My New Favorite Thing!

I have a garage full of toys but I would spend all day in mommy or daddy's cars pushing every single button I can find if they let me!

4th of July Weekend!

Mommy, daddy and I had a very fun 4th of July weekend! The weather was gorgeous (and hot...we will never complain about it being too hot though because we hate the winter so much we would take 90's any day)! We went to the zoo, a parade, a festival, the park, and the pool!

We went to the Cleveland Zoo for the first time and saw so many fun neat animals! Here is just a taste of what we saw:

Giraffes (mommy's favorite)!

An Ostrich.

Black Bears.

Polar Bears.

A Grizzly Bear!
Gorillas.

And Cheetahs.
We went to the Aurora parade Sunday, followed by some time at the park, and a festival!

I had oh, 5 suckers or so during the parade. Everyone kept throwing me suckers and each time I got a new one, I wanted that one instead of the one I was currently sucking on.
I got a necklace too.
We didn't take many pictures of the parade but mommy did manage to get a picture of the big trucks!
We stopped in the fire station after the parade and visited all of the fire trucks!

At the festival, I rode a horse (two horses actually) for the first time!
I loved it, though as soon as daddy had to step away (because he had flip flops on), I wanted nothing to do with the horses.
I got my face painted. It is suppose to be a dog!
Mommy says I'm just the cutest!!!
And I played in the sand the rest of the time!

I also spent some time cooling off by playing in my water table.
And pool and sprinkler.
