Happy 2nd Birthday!

To our precious, sweet Noah,

Happy 2nd birthday! We felt unbelievably blessed the day you came into our lives two years ago have felt that way every single day since then. We loved you the day we found out that we had conceived you. We loved you even more than we ever thought we could love the second we laid eyes on you and held you. And our love for you grows stronger and deeper every day, though it hardly seems possible that we could love even more! You are a miracle! You have filled our lives with love, laughter, excitement, wonderful entertainment, and more happiness than words could ever describe. You amaze us with the new things you can do, the things you know and figure out on your own, the funny things you say, your memory, when you sing, and your ability to learn so much, so quick. Some of the highlights of your 2nd year are: learning to walk, then run, then jump, your ability to learn "sign" at such a young age and so quickly, your speech which you mastered so early and now can form sentences, blowing kisses, saying "I love you" (this made our hearts melt), going from a bottle, to a sippy cup, to a straw cup, to a cup with just a slit, moving out of your highchair into a booster seat at the table, using a fork and spoon, talking on the phone, learning your colors, numbers, animal noises, and so much more, being interested in sitting on the potty, getting a mouthful of teeth, singing (oh, your singing…you sound like an angel. You can sing so many songs but a few of our favorites are Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes, Mr. Sun, Where is Thumper, and Wheels on the Bus), gym class (you love gym class and have learned so much from it), your first haircut, and our first vacation (you enjoyed every second of it and we enjoyed watching you take everything in, find joy in everything you saw and did, and be so incredibly happy)!

You have taught us so much (maybe even more than we have taught you) but two of the most important things you have taught us are the importance of patience and to appreciate even the smallest things in life such as a ride on a shuttle bus, watching the birds, and lawn mowers!

YOU, our sweet boy, are AMAZING!!! Please don't ever forget how precious and miraculous your life is, your self worth, that you have the ability to do whatever you set your mind to, that you are amazing, and that YOU ARE LOVED (more than you could ever imagine and more than words could ever describe)!

We love you!
Love,
Mommy and Daddy
