The park!

On Saturday mommy, daddy, Bailey and I met Aunt Stacey and cousin Taylor at the park! The temps could have been a little warmer (it was in the low 50's) and it could have been a little less windy. I probably didn't need my winter hat but with the wind, mommy thought I better have it on! :) I swung, crawled through the tunnel, went down a few slides, and watched Taylor run around....all while holding on to my sippy cup!!! :)

Just a quick update on what I can sign! I sign milk, eat, more (especially when it comes to what mommy calls junk-food (ie. crackers, puffs, etc...oh, and cheese..but that's not junk-food and I love my cheese), and I sign all done! Mommy will get them on video soon!!!!

Since I am updating....I have also become very good at pulling myself up, standing up (while holding on to something), and am starting to get the hang of putting one foot in front of the other (aka. walking)...again while holding on to something/someone. I am still pretty wobbly when standing and walking but it's a start. Practice, practice, practice, and I will become stronger and more steady!!! :)

I have really gained speed crawling so have been giving Bailey (and myself) quite a workout!

I chase Bailey around but he is pretty quick too so I usually can't catch him. I can often get his toys (especially when he drops them and runs)! Then he comes back to get them! It's actually a very fun game and I crack up the whole time!!! :)

By the way, how do Bailey and I look as the dining room table!?!?! Don't worry, mommy and daddy FINALLY found one they loved..and it should all be here in the next few weeks!!!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

I spent my first St. Patrick's Day dressed in green pj's and then my green "Kiss Me, I'm Irish" outfit from my Aunt Lori! It was a BEAUTIFUL day in Cleveland, Ohio...upper 60's and SUNNY! Mommy, Bailey, and I spent most of the day outside or by the sun shining through the window inside! I sure got a lot of kisses too!!!! But that's not unusual...mommy and daddy give me lots and lots of kisses EVERY day!

Mommy tried to hold a photo-shoot but since I don't sit still anymore...it was a little difficult. Mommy got a few pics of me sitting and the rest were while I was on the go!

One word-PRECIOUS!

Mommy, very quietly, captured one of the most peaceful moments of my days...nap time! I was actually taking a longer nap than usual so mommy came up to check on me. Mommy typically doesn't step foot near my nursery, let alone, in it while I am napping so not to disturb this much needed rest. After she tip-toed into my nursery and across the room to take a peak, what she saw melted her heart! Doesn't it melt yours too?!?! :) She quickly and QUIETLY scurried downstairs to get her camera....pushed a few buttons to mute the camera, took a few practice shots on Bailey and crept back in to capture this moment so it will never be forgotten. Thank goodness for cameras!!!

Don't I look so comfy, curled up in a ball, snug in the corner of my crib, laying on one of my favorite blankies with my paci's just an arm's length away!??!

By the way, your eyes aren't playing tricks on you, my blankie that day was pink and yes, mommy may not be the best at doing laundry and has turned a few white things pink in her day but this blankie isn't one of those "woopsies." My cousin, Addison, actually let me borrow this blanket when she was done with it. Aunt Kristi used something called The Miracle blanket to swaddle Addison and she got me one too when I was born. Then when Addison was done with her Miracle blankets, Aunt Kristi gave the two she had to mommy to use so we could have more than one. I loved being swaddled so much, I didn't care if it was in a pink blanket sometimes (when the blue one and white one were getting washed)! Well, I spent the first 8 1/2 months of my life swaddled in these Miracle blankets so have become quite close to them. Though mommy doesn't swaddle me anymore, I still like to cuddle with my Miracle blanket when I sleep and during this nap, it happened to be the pink one that I got cozy with!!! :)

My Leap Frog table grew legs!!!

What do you know?!?!?! One day my Leap Frog table had no legs and the next morning when I woke up it had FOUR!!!!! My Leap Frog table's four legs are going to help my two little legs get nice and strong!!!

Updating my blog!!! :)

Finally, after almost 11 months mommy finally snapped a few pictures of me while I was updating my blog!!! I also spent some time staring at mommy's desktop picture (which is me, of course), surfing the net, and doing a little bit of mommy's work for her!!!

See that table right behind me? I just crawled under it!!! That's my short cut from the great room to the kitchen! :)

Mommy gave me my first teething biscuit (not that I have any teeth coming in yet or anything....yes, STILL no teeth)...to eat the other day and boy was it good. I didn't know what to think at first but the gooeyier it got, the better it tasted and the more fun it was!!! :)

How I've learned to crawl!

Hello, hello everyone!!! I know I have been MIA once again for awhile....I have no excuses this time...other than the fact that I have been ON THE MOVE CONSTANTLY now so mommy has not had many chances to snap photos of me lately.

I am "officially" crawling now but mommy hasn't gotten it on video yet but that's okay because I still have some old video to show you of how I use to crawl a few weeks ago.

Let's see...starting around mid-late January I learned to get around my rolling to what I wanted...even if that meant rolling clear across the room or rolling a couple of times, then pivoting my body a little, then rolling again. I did that for quite a while. Then around the middle of February I started to get up on my hands and knees, push myself forward, fall to my belly, and then do it all over again. I resembled a frog hopping around! That's what mommy called my pseudo-crawling. Now, since the beginning of March I have been up on my hands and knees moving each of them forward...a.k.a CRAWLING!!!! It is a blast!!! I can now follow mommy around all over the house...which makes me unbelievably happy!!! I also crawl after Bailey constantly....because every time I get close he moves to another spot so I just keep trying to get him!!! Bailey gives both of us lots of exercise!!! Mommy promises to get video of me crawling soon but in the meantime here are a few videos from a couple of weeks ago when I was doing my "pseudo-crawling."
