Memorial Day Weekend in Columbus!!!

I had the best weekend!!! Let me tell you all about it! Mommy, daddy, and I and Bailey of course went down to my Aunt Kristi and Uncle Dustin's house in Columbus on Saturday morning. I was so good in the car. I slept the entire time and just started to make a few noises as we were turning onto Aunt Kristi's street. I was telling mommy and daddy how happy I was that we were there (and that I was pretty hungry) but they can't understand what I am saying yet. My Gammy and Poppy were also at Aunt Kristi's. I hadn't met my poppy yet so I was really excited to see him and I was so excited to see my gammy too! And my aunt, uncle, cousin Addison and cousin Wrigley (Bailey was really excited to see Wrigley too...he knows when we are getting close to their house and he stands up to look out the car window and wags his tail)!!!

On Saturday, us girls and Noah hung out inside while the boys stained Kristi and Dustin's deck. Then we cooked out and everyone relaxed in the evening.

On Sunday...which was my Gammy's birthday, after we woke up we went to church. Mommy and I got their halfway through because I had to eat first. Mommy was worried how I would do in church but I did very very good! It was my first time...I really liked listening to the music! The boys worked on the deck again while the girls and I hung out inside. After the boys were done, mommy, gammy, and Aunt Kristi went to Easton to take gammy shopping for her birthday. Daddy took very good care of me while mommy was gone. He gave me a bottle, gave me tummy time, and took me for a walk. We had alot of fun! That evening my Aunt Lori and Shawn came for my gammy's birthday dinner...and to see me (they hadn't seen me yet)!!!! We cooked out again and sang happy birthday and had ice cream cake!

On Monday, I cuddled with gammy and poppy a little more before we had to leave. My cousin Addison and I also had a photo shoot!!! She is a pro at photo shoots so she was putting her arm around me and holding me too...to show me what to do....sit nicely, look at the camera, and smile (maybe). :)

We had so much fun and I can't wait to go to Columbus again!!! I miss my Gammy, Poppy, Aunts, Uncle, and Cousin Addison SO SO SO much! :(

Fun with Nana again before she left to go back home to Florida

Mommy, daddy, and I had a cook-out with Nana and Mike and my cousin Taylor on Saturday! I wore my "Inspired" onesie and my camouflage pants..they were both a little big! Mommy thinks I weigh at least 10 lbs. now because she stepped on the scale with me. I don't go to the pediatrician until June 18th so by then I will weigh even more. I'm getting so big!!! My clothes should start fitting soon! Back to the cook-out with Nana... Daddy cooked some yummy BBQ chicken...so I heard...I didn't get to taste it. We ate, watched the horse race, and hung out. It was lots of fun! Mommy took lots of pictures of me in my outfit, pictures with my Nana, and daddy took pictures of me and mommy too!

I also took a bottle for the second time and did soooo much better...mainly because mommy and daddy bought premie nipples to use (Thanks for the suggestion Aunt Kristi). The slow flow one's are just way too fast for me right now...at least until I get use to eating from the bottle every now and then.

Over the past week or so I've grown to really like my bouncer....well that is for no more than 10 minutes at a time....but mommy has learned to do things (ie. eat, clean, shower, get dressed, etc) alot quicker than she use to (ie. in 10 minutes or less)!!! Sometimes I even fall asleep in my bouncer which mommy loves...okay well only twice so far...and I don't stay asleep for very long.... :) My bouncer is really cool..it plays fun music, has really neat lights for me to look at, and has animals that move up and down and side to side! I just love it!!!


I'm also starting to like my activity mat...a little. Mommy tries to give me tummy time everyday. Some days I'm more excited about it than others. My activity mat is really cool too with lots of things for me to look at and music for me to listen to. My favorite thing is the mirror though! I love looking at myself in it...though I don't know that I am looking at myself yet. I can pick up my head and turn it from one side to the other too!!! I'm going to be really strong like my daddy! :)

What I've been up to the past 3 weeks....

Sorry for not writing in awhile....I have been very busy keeping mommy busy (and a little tired). :) I have been doing a lot of sleeping (mostly in mommy or daddy's arms), alot, alot, alot of eating and along with that alot of pooping! Sometimes I take good naps during the day like on Mother's Day. My daddy's family got together for lunch at Champs and desert at My great uncle Allyn's and great aunt Leslie's new house. Mommy was a little worried about how the day was going to go but I fell asleep in the car...stayed asleep during the entire lunch at the loud restaurant and woke up a little after arriving at Allyn and Leslie's. Other days, I take little "cat naps" my mommy calls them...sleeping for only a short while when I am put down in my pack-n-play. Mommy says she take me to Champs every afternoon for nap time since I slept so well there! :) At nighttime, sometimes I sleep good and sometimes not so good like two nights ago all I wanted was to be in mommy's arms to sleep so every time she put me down I woke up very shortly after but last night I slept really good....daddy put me down around 9pm and I didn't wake up until 2:30am!!!! Daddy must of had the magic touch!!! I probably would have slept longer but mommy couldn't sleep anymore...she was getting "uncomfortable" because it was way past my time to eat so she was ever so slightly trying to wake me up. Then I slept a little over 3 hours two more times! We will see what tonight holds....

I have also been going on alot of walks in my stroller with mommy, daddy, and Bailey when there are nice days. Mommy and daddy would like for the walks to make me fall asleep but they usually don't...actually I can't think of one that did! :)

I have also been taking baths....on my big yellow bear sponge on the kitchen counter. I'm not quite ready for the bathtub yet because I am still getting use to being naked and wet. I don't like either right now and clutch my paci really tight during bath time. Mommy has become faster bathing me so I'm not unhappy for too long!

My gammy also spent quite a few days with me and mommy and daddy. We had a really good time....I love when my gammy holds me and talks to me! Gammy helped mommy and daddy alot...cleaning, cooking, and taking Bailey for walks. I miss my gammy but I will see her on her birthday Memorial Day weekend when we are all at my Aunt Kristi's in Columbus for a night or two! Gammy will be up to visit this summer alot too.....I can't wait (neither can mommy...she really misses her..I know because she always cries when she leaves)!

My gramps and Evelyn also came to visit me the day I came home from the hospital and the day they came back from Las Vegas!

And just yesterday my nana came in from Florida. I got to spend a few hours with her yesterday evening and she is here for a week so I will get to see her alot the next few days! Mike also came so I got to see him too!!!

Speaking of Mother's Day earlier...it was such a special day for mommy! Daddy woke up with me and occupied me for an hour so mommy could sleep longer. Then daddy had me bring my presents to mommy. I got her flowers and a beautiful diamond ring!!! Diamond is my birthstone!!! That makes mommy really lucky...after all she did just get a diamond ring....and daddy...hmmm...not so lucky....he did have to buy it :) ....daddy really doesn't mind (though he's probably hoping my future sister or brother won't be born in April)! :) Mommy loved her gifts! Mommy also got me all dressed up! It was the first outfit my daddy picked out the day mommy and daddy found it I was a boy! We had a mini photo shoot (mommy learned this from Aunt Kristi...she is always doing photo shoots with my cousin Addison..but who can blame her...Addison is BEAUTIFUL)!!!

Yes, I know my clothes are a little big...I'm trying to grow into them! But mommy doesn't want me to grow up too fast!
