My 7 month stats!

Happy 7 month birthday (one day late) to me!!! :) At 7 months I weigh 16 pounds 2.5 ounces! I am 26.5 inches long! Getting big, eh?!?!?! Since I am getting to be such a big boy.....when I got round 1 of my flu shot yesterday, I decided to tough it out and only cry for a couple of seconds!!! Today I am spending the day with my Nana. I am sooooo excited because I haven't seen Nana for a couple weeks. I can't wait to show her how I sit like a big boy, play with all of my toys, hold my bottle all by myself...hmmmm...and maybe I will show her how I try to take control of the spoon...and even better how I like to blow bubbles when I have a mouth full of food!!!! :) My Nana just got back from Florida and had a really nice time. YAY!!! I'm so happy Nana had a good time and I am so so so happy Nana is back! Nana told mommy and daddy this morning that Mike is coming to visit us in Cleveland for the holidays!!! I can't wait! We miss you Mike and are so excited to see you in a month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pack some of the Florida warmth and sunshine in your suitcase please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our visitors last weekend!!!

Some of my most favorite visitors came last weekend! Gammy, Aunt Kristi, Uncle Dustin, Cousin Addison, and Cousin Wrigley. Aunt Kristi and Uncle Dustin had not seen our new house yet so they were excited to come and see it and we were so excited to have them stay COMFORTABLY with us!!! We had a great weekend but of course it went by way too fast as it always does when mommy is with her family...and really weekends just go by way too fast in general! Friday night all of the grown ups ate a yummy chili dinner and stayed up way too late talking (while us babes slept). Saturday we went shopping to get Aunt Kristi some new jeans which looked great on her! Later that evening our friends and Aunt Kristi and Uncle Dustin's old neighbors, Ben and Kylie, came over for dinner and a visit. Then wouldn't you know it, it was Sunday already and it was time to say our good-byes. :( We had a great weekend though and Cousin Addison and I had our usual photo shoot!

Zucchini!

Another veggie....another hit!!! I have added zucchini to my list of favorites! Mommy is sooo soo sooo happy that I did not take after her with respect to her food preferences. I love my veggies for sure! Fruit on the other hand....not so much. I love bananas! Pears are pretty good! Apples make me gag (literally) and so do apricots for that matter. Mommy thought I might like apples better if they were mixed with apricots. Nice try, mommy, but you can't trick me!

Our Indian Summer Week!!!

You wouldn't think it was November in Cleveland this week (actually probably anywhere in Ohio). The weather has been so beautiful this week...high 60's/low 70's and sunny!!! JUST BEAUTIFUL!!! Mommy and I wish it could be like this all year long and we are really sad to think that the nice weather is going to be over starting tomorrow. :( Daddy says it will be nice again next Spring. Ahhhhhhh...daddy isn't that like 6 months from now?!?!?! Well, mommy and I have definitely taken advantage of these nice few days. We have spent alot of time outside on long walks and on Tuesday we went to look at the duckies in the pond!!

Yellow Squash!!!!

I had butternut squash already which I loved so I thought hmmm....yellow squash....it's gotta be good too!!!! Not so much! This was not one of my favorites but now I've had them a couple of times and they are starting to grow on me!

Pears!

We have been trying many fruits now that we have gotten use to lots of veggies. Pears were next! These weren't nearly as tart as the apples but they were sweet! YUMMY!!!

Mommy hasn't taken many pictures of me just hanging out in a diaper so thought this would be a good time. She said she wants to remember my soft, flawless, precious baby skin! We had a great time playing and I am becoming a pro at sitting! See for yourself! :)

Apples.....very tart!

Mommy and I made apples the other day! Mommy said it was alot like Applesauce...minus all of the extra added sugar! :) Mommy said she loves applesauce so said I would probably like the apples..... Well, the first few bites were a little bit of a shock to my taste buds and caused me to make a few silly faces!!! :) I think I will like them better as I get more use to their taste!
