Tuesday - Pool and Daddy's Softball game (with Gammy)!

Tuesday, I showed Gammy our swimming pool! It was a hot, hot, hot day so it was a perfect day for a swim! I showed Gammy how I splashed in the water and kicked in the water. I went down the whale slide (and so did Gammy)! :) I showed Gammy my friend, the elephant, who squirts water from his nose and played on the water playground which squirts water EVERYWHERE with Gammy! We had such a great time at the pool!!! Unfortunately, we don't have any pictures from the swimming pool since our pool doesn't allow cameras (sad that this is what the world has come to).

That evening we went to daddy's softball game. Daddy has been playing all summer but mommy and I hadn't gotten the chance to go cheer daddy on. We decided it was the perfect opportunity to go when Gammy was in town! Daddy's team won!!! YAY!!!

My da-da!

Who gives such good kisses!

I brought my favorite truck!

And drove it all around...through the grass!

Through the mulch!

Next to the fence!

And every now and then stopped playing with my truck to cheer for my daddy!

There's my da-da! Hit it out of the park, da-da!

Mommy, this is so much fun!
Go da-da!
YAY!!!

My ma-ma and da-da!

Gammy came to visit us last Monday!

Last Monday, Gammy came up to our house to visit for a couple of days. It was Gammy's last week of break before school started (today) so we decided to spend her last week of summer vacation together!

After mommy got off work she and Gammy came to pick me up from Suzi's. I was so excited to see mommy AND Gammy!!!

Evenings go fast on the days mommy works since by the time we all get home we only have a little time to play before and after dinner before it's bedtime. We definitely made the most of our Monday evening!

The Toledo Zoo!

Daddy, mommy, and I met a good childhood friend of daddy's, his nice wife, and their very cute daughter at the Toledo Zoo on Saturday. This was my first ever visit to the zoo and boy did I LOVE IT!!!! Why the Toledo Zoo you ask? Well daddy's friends live near Detroit so it was the perfect half-way point.

When we arrived to the zoo our friends were already there waiting. I met daddy's friend, Mike, his wife, Katie, and their daughter Kayla. Kayla is only 3 weeks younger than me!!! Kayla and I hit it off right away and shared some waves, smiles, and giggles. Unfortunately, we did not get the chance to share her wagon. As nice and pretty as Kayla was and as fun as her wagon looked, I wanted nothing to do with it....for some crazy reason! I hung out in my stroller....(oh, maybe 10% of the time)...in mommy or daddy's arms (oh, hmmmm...60% of the time)....and walked on my own (oh, 30% of the time).

Kayla and me!

We first saw the giraffe's which are one of my all time favorite animals!!!

Then the deer.....which we see all the time at home in our backyard!

And zebras!

A very cool polar bear!
Who wanted to take a little rest after he cooled off with a swim.

Then Kayla and I got real close to look for the hippo and next thing we knew, he was swimming right in front of us!

We saw the elephants!
They like to get wet too!
Monkeys!

All kinds of monkeys!

Kayla and I ran around for a little to burn some energy!

I played on the curb, of course!
Then we saw a few great big gorillas! This one was deep in thought....thinking about his escape plan!

This gorilla was giving us the cold shoulder...he must have been having a bad day.
I loved watching them though!

Next, we went into the aquarium and saw....
an octopus!

And a couple crabs!

And lots of fish too!

Then it was time to go. We said good-bye to our friends (until next time), gave them hugs, and blew them kisses!

My 2nd parade!

Last weekend was also Solon Home Days which is a weekend long carnival and a parade on Sunday! Since I loved my first parade 4th of July weekend so much, mommy and daddy decided to take me to see this parade too! We had a great time!

We saw an old-fashion fire truck!

Which deserved a few applause's!

Guess what else we saw!

A few old-fashion cars,

Slider, the Indians Mascot,

A clown on stilts,

A puppy with a "lamp shade" around his face,

Lolly the Trolley,

And a bulldozer!

I also had my first Popsicle,
And caught a ball!

Before the parade ended, I also got to see two very exciting people:
Snoopy!

And Ronald McDonald!

I waved to Ronald.....

And kept waving to him.....until he went out of sight!

Taylor's 3rd Birthday Party!

My cousin turned the BIG 3 last weekend and had a big birthday bash! I had a great time at the party! I had pizza for the first time, cake for the second time, and took my first ride in a pink Mustang!

YUMMY, this cake is delicious!

I also played with a slinky for the first time too!

Nana tickled me!!!

I started to get sleepy when Taylor was opening her presents.

Taylor showed me how she could ride her new tricycle!
And then took me for a ride in her new pink Mustang!

And then she let me get behind the wheel! Vroom! Vroom!
